Nick Stasiak

Year: Sophomore (2016)
Major: Geography and Geographic Information Systems
Minors: Communications and Atmospheric Science
Nick is the creator of C2M Weather and Fourth Estate Weather for George Mason University. He is also the President of the Society of Professional Journalists. During the summer of 2013, Nick became a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps in Chicago. Outside of weather and academics, he is a CPR/AED/FA instructor for the American Red Cross and Mason Recreation. 



James Luehrs
Year: Junior (2015)
Major: Earth Science B.S-Concentration in Atmospheric Science
Minor: Geographic Information Systems
James is a student who along with Nick and Katie have created this new website.  James also a member of George Mason's Track and Field team, American Meteorological Society and the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He is currently working as a student intern for USGS with their Silva Carbon program. 





Katie Thomas

Year: Senior (2016)
 Major: Atmospheric Science B.S
-Concentration in Meteorology
Minor: Geographic Information Systems 
Along with James and Nick, Katie is a founder of the student run weather organization, Forecast GMU. She hopes to start her career  in the field of severe and extreme weather. She has interned with the Channel 7 WJLA Weather Center and this summer will intern with the National Weather Service! Outside of academics, Katie is a member of The American Meteorological Society, president and founder of the George Mason University's American Meteorological Society chapter, the National Weather Association, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority,  The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and works part-time off campus.

Jeremy Goldstein


Year: Freshman (2018)

Major: Atmospheric Science B.S Concentration in Meteorology  

Jeremy is a newcomer to ForecastGMU, though he is also a well-motivated freshman with a great interest in forecasting and climate change. His interests include swimming and politics. He also works part-time off campus.
