It looks as we will have totally clear weather tomorrow for
Mason Day with a mostly sunny skies, but seasonably cold temperatures. A cold
Arctic front has cemented itself into place over the Northeastern US and with
it has caused temperatures to be well below average for much of the Midwest,
Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Strong winds in the upper levels is bringing in a sufficient amount of cold air from Canada which has caused snow the other night in places like Detroit, and will cause freeze and frost across much of the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic including our Western suburbs.
This is a similar pattern that we experienced this
winter that brought temperatures 10-15 degrees below average and storm patterns
that go up the coast rather than come in from the west. Luckily these storms will not be arriving
until Saturday into Sunday.
All of this, means that while clear and sunny, Mason Day will be cool
and windy; so bundle up Mason, especially later on in the evening as the sun
goes down. Lows tonight and tomorrow night will be near the freezing mark. Here
is your forecast for Mason Day.
2:00pm: Mostly sunny. Temperature of 55 degrees. Wind out of
the WNW at 20mph with occasional gusts over 35mph
